The Zazu Football School is two years old.

To celebrate the anniversary, the administration of the school organised a social activity for its young members and their parents at the Ballroom Hall of the Westin Dragonara Resort, one of the school's main sponsors.

The response for this activity was very positive with over 260 persons attending the special occasion.

In a short speech, Ray 'Zazu' Farrugia, the head coach and mastermind of the Zazu Football School, thanked the parents and sponsors for their continued support.

Farrugia, a former Malta Under-21 coach who is currently in charge of Premier League club Sliema Wanderers, said that over 200 youngsters, aged between five and 14 years, currently attend the training sessions from Monday to Friday at the five-a-side pitches of the University of Malta in Tal-Qroqq.

The Zazu Football School is supported by Westin Dragonara Resort, TeamSport, Peugeot, PJ Sutters, Cafe Ranieri, Cafe Oasis and Office Electronics.
