Art in filigree

Tourism and Culture Minister Francis Zammit Dimech opened a joint exhibition of paintings and silvercraft entitled Faces, Earrings And More by Joe Spiteri Staines and Kevin Attard (left) at the Malta Society of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce, Palazzo De La Salle, in Valletta.

Fifteen pastel portraits by Mr Spiteri Staines of women wearing Mr Attard's filigree earrings are being exhibited together with another 15 seascapes and landscapes. Mr Attard is also exhibiting a number of silver creations.

The display will remain open until Friday.
