• A Penitential Diocesan pilgrimage leaves the entrance to the village of Ghasri (near the village sign) for the parish church on Friday at 6 p.m. Bishop Grech leads Mass at 6.30 p.m. Families whose children are about to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation are encouraged to attend.

• Wirt Ghawdex is holding a public lecture at the Gozo Ministry hall on Saturday at 6 p.m. Historian Mgr John Azzopardi, curator of the Wignacourt Musuem in Rabat, will speak about "Land in Gozo for St Paul's Grotto in Malta: Purchase, management and income". Entrance is free.
