A Moroccan man was yesterday jailed for five months after he pleaded guilty to assaulting and threatening a number of police officers in Valletta on Thursday morning.

Abdelghani El Jamoudi, 32, also admitted to disobeying the police officers and causing damage in a cell at the Valletta police station. Police Inspector Alfred Mallia prosecuted.
