Treatment of dancers

I was quite disgusted when I read about the way our police force treated the 35 foreign girls who were accused of prostitution.

The police have come a long way since the 1980s and it is a pity that a couple of officers let down the whole force to this level with the lame excuse that the girls were to be photographed.

How big is the camera at the police department? Is it one of those we see in Western movies? What would have happened if they were indeed having sex? Would the girls and the clients have been handcuffed to the bed and transported with the bed to the police depot for a photo?

This was nothing more than sexual abuse and an investigation should be carried out as to why it happened. Lower than this one cannot go.

I sincerely hope the girls and the owners of the nightclubs pool together and sue the police department. No matter what they were doing they had a right to be treated in a decent manner.

I wonder if any Maltese who was accused of prostitution in the past have ever been taken in nearly naked.
