It is a disgrace that no politician has ever tackled certain injustices going on at our law courts.

The worst problem is the very long time it takes for a case to be concluded and mostly this is due to a lack of discipline in our courts.

Sometimes the other side, or even the lawyer concerned, fails to turn up for a sitting because it suits them for a case to be prolonged. Why does the magistrate not take action against these absentees? It is a great injustice for the elderly and the sick to have to go to court over and over again. Is it possible that our MPs' consciences are not pricked by these injustices?

No real effort is being made to rectify these failings. One can see quite clearly why these cases keep dragging on and on to the detriment of citizens who only want what is theirs.
