Playmobil careers open day

Playmobil Malta will be holding a Careers Open Day at the Playmobil Factory in Hal Far on Saturday. With a philosophy based on technology and innovation, the team at Playmobil Malta encourage initiative, adaptability and the flow of ideas. At the Careers Open Day, visitors will be able to see and experience these ideas at work. Students who are considering careers in the various areas that Playmobil Malta offers will be given guidance during their visit and will receive consultation on their career path, whether it's through tertiary education in the eventuality that they will work at Playmobil, or whether they wish to be trained directly by Playmobil.

Playmobil Malta operates out of a state of the art 58,000 sq. mmanufacturing plant and currently employs 800 persons, 400 of whom are technically based. Its products are distributed worldwide. There are other production sites in Germany, the Czech Republic and Spain, with a total worldwide staff of 2,600 people. Some 40 million Playmobil sets are produced and sold per year.

The Careers Open Day will be held from 10 am to 4 pm .
