A villa in Triq Il-Huttaf, in San Gwann, that had been illegally converted to offices has been restored to its original use following action by the Malta Environment and Planning Authority.

Mepa said that following a report from the San Gwann local council, its officers inspected a residence which was recently turned into offices without the necessary permits.

An enforcement notice was issued giving the owner 15 days to comply. Mepa said the illegal operation has now stopped.
