Kerygma maintained their slim chances of clinching a place in the elite group by beating SN Suns while Luxol did the double on Dakar Sliema Wanderers.
In the most important match of the weekend, Depiro were never really troubled by Loyola as they quickly raced into a 21-8 lead by the end of the first quarter.
Depiro continued to hold the upperhand to go in for half-time 38-18 ahead. Loyola closed the gap to nine points, 53-42, but they faded out in the last session to lose 72-49.
Kerygma cantered to a 59-26 victory against bottom-placed SN Suns. Dictating matters from the jumpball, Kerygma led 26-11 at half-time and never looked back as SN Suns failed to offer any resistance.
Luxol returned to winning ways against Dakar SW.
With Amanda Sciortino and Emma Moore in fine form, Luxol began pulling away after the first quarter to hold a 32-19 lead at half-time. Luxol kept up their momentum after the interval to run out 69-31 winners.
