FOI President Adrian Bajada, accompanied by FOI officials, met various foreign diplomats in the past two weeks. Italian Ambassador Paolo Andrea Trabalza and the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany Karl Andreas von Stenglin called the FOI premises on January 31 and Thursday, respectively, and FOI director-general Wilfred Kenely had the opportunity to meet Dr Matousek from the Czech Embassy during his visit to Malta on Wednesday.
The meetings focused mainly on trade-related issues between Malta and the respective country, and the identification of mutually beneficial investment and trade opportunities between them.
The aims and objectives of the German Presidency of the European Union were among the main topics discussed between the FOI president, accompanied by FOI deputy president Martin Galea, as well as FOI vice-presidents Anthony Tabone, Helga Ellul and Joe Pace, and the German Ambassador during his courtesy visit on Thursday.
