Obituary
MICALLEF. On February 7, at St Luke's Hospital, VINNY of Valletta, residing at Sliema, aged 70, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his children Donna-Lisa and her husband Joe, his grandsons Dylan and Brandon, his families, relatives and friends. - R.I.P. The funeral leaves St Luke's Hospital today at 2 p.m. for the old St Venera parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30 p.m., followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.

She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Lawrence, her children Charles and his wife Elizabeth, Mario and his wife Erika, Anne-Marie and her husband Bernard, her grandchildren Larissa, Benjamin, Jason, Neil, Maria, Luke and Mattea, her brother Paul, her sisters and brothers -in-law, their families, other relatives and friends. - R.I.P. The funeral leaves St Luke's Hospital on Monday at 7.15 a.m. for St Paul Shipwrecked Collegiate church, Valletta where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8 a.m. followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siggiewi will be appreciated.
SALIBA. On February 8, JOSEPH, aged 83, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his sister, Sister Mary of the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary, his brother Notary Dr Philip Saliba and his wife Marie Louise, his sisters-in-law Myriam, widow of his brother Anthony and Carmela, widow of his brother Carmelo, nephews, nieces and their families. The funeral leaves St Luke's Hospital on Monday at 3 p.m. for St Philip's parish church, Zebbug, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 3.30 p.m., followed by interment in the family grave at the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Zebbug. Donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siggiewi, will be appreciated. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

Prayer Evening
The International Movement of Prayer Blessed Pope XXIII will hold an evening of prayer for peace and new evangelisation of the world at the basement chapel of Sarria church, in Floriana, on February 21 at 5.30 p.m.
Extra trip to Gozo
Gozo Channel Company Limited will run an extra trip early on February 18 in addition to the normal scheduled trips to support the various carnival activities being held in Gozo.
This extra night trip will leave from Mgarr at 2.30 a.m. and then from Cirkewwa at 3 a.m.
