A 41-year-old man was yesterday charged with burgling an elderly woman's house in Cospicua last month.

Brian Muscat, of Cospicua, was arraigned under arrest over burgling the house, causing damage and relapsing on January 12. He pleaded not guilty to the charges and was remanded in custody.

Police Inspector Anthony Portelli prosecuted.
