A maisonette and an underlying garage that were illegally being used as offices, a workshop and commercial store in Triq Il-Ghajn, Swieqi, have been reverted to a residential dwelling after Mepa told the owner to stop the illegal use of the premises.

According to law, an enforcement notice obliges the contravener to revert the site to its former state, in this case a residential dwelling.

The regulator had warned the owner to respect the law or have the premises sealed off.
