New directors for Crimsonwing

James Bonello and Pierre Zammit have been appointed managing director and operations director, respectively, of Crimsonwing (Malta) Ltd. Both directors have been working with Crimsonwing for a number of years, part of which in their respective capacities of head of professional services and head of business operations.

Together, they have a wealth of experience in the various fields of IT and will continue to enhance Crimsonwing's growth and capacity for new and diverse projects.

James Bonello joined Crimsonwing almost eight years ago as a project leader on the Safeway/Morrisons account. He then worked as project manager and support manager until his recent appointment as head of professional services, where he oversaw the bulk of Crimsonwing's headcount.

As managing director, he will continue to chair the management executive team as well as assume responsibility for Crimsonwing's service delivery and external relations.

His previous involvement in software development, systems analysis and design, sales and project management, both locally and overseas, gives him over 17 years of experience in the IT sector.

Pierre Zammit is now in his ninth year at Crimsonwing, having been involved in the initial set-up of the company back in 1998-9. He began as project manager in charge of new projects and then oversaw the growth of the company's network and infrastructure over the years until his appointment as head of business operations three years ago.

This new appointment places him in charge of HR recruitment and training, the certification and implementation of quality procedures throughout Crimsonwing, as well as finance and administration of the Malta solutions centre.
