HSBC employees on short-term assignment to Bermuda

Three skilled employees from HSBC Bank Malta were seconded to HSBC Bermuda to help implement HSBC's banking systems in the bank's latest acquisition there.

"This is a great opportunity for HSBC Bank Malta to support our group colleagues and, in doing so, provide excellent overseas experiences for employees of HSBC Bank Malta," said CEO Shaun Wallis.

"We wish Chris Darmanin, Antoine Demarco and Frances Farrugia an enjoyable overseas assignment. Actually, our colleagues in Bank of Bermuda asked for more help, but this is as much as we can lend them at this time. We also have secondees in a number of other countries at present."
