TVM most popular station - survey

With an audience of 29.7 per cent, TVM is the most popular television station, according to the Broadcasting Authority's audience survey for October to December.

TVM was closely followed by One TV, which has 28 per cent of television viewers. Net TV, with 13.3 per cent, was next in line followed by Italia 1 (9.1 per cent).

The most popular radio station was One Radio, with a listenership of 24.7 per cent. It was followed by Calypso Radio (15.8 per cent), RTK (9.8 per cent), Bay Radio (9.2 per cent), Radio 101 and Radju Malta (seven per cent each) and Radju Marija (6.2 per cent).

The survey found that 66.8 per cent of respondents had cable television, 24.3 per cent were still using an analogue antenna, 6.3 per cent had satellite, 1.6 per cent had digital antenna, 0.8 per cent said they did not have a television set and 0.1 per cent said they viewed television broadcasts on the internet.
