Mtarfa burglary

An Egytpian man was yesterday charged with breaking into an Mtarfa house and stealing money and jewellery.

Ibrahim Hafes El Degwy, 41, pleaded not guilty to burgling Carmel Cutajar's house and causing damage in April 2005.

Police Inspector Raymond Cassar prosecuted.

Lawyer Franco Debono was defence counsel.
