Maltese in Paris hail Joseph Calleja

The Embassy of Malta in Paris was buzzing with activity last week on the occasion of the visit to Paris by Maltese tenor Joseph Calleja, who gave two highly successful concerts.

Ambassador Vicki Ann Cremona hosted the Parisian community of Maltese citizens and friends of Malta to a vin d'honneur at the embassy, during which the guests had the opportunity to meet Mr Calleja and have their copies of the tenor's CDs signed by him.

Dr Cremona also hosted the 26 female ambassadors resident in Paris, and female senior officials within local institutions, to a discussion on the setting up of a framework for the enhancement of cooperation among their embassies, institutions and countries.
