Wardens' blind spot

I agree with Vincent Chetcuti (January 29) that there are more serious traffic contraventions than wrong placement of car registration disks.

How about Swieqi wardens daily patrolling the areas near Top Line, Miracle Foods, Greens Supermarket as well as near Ta' l-Ibrag church during Sunday religious functions, where double yellow lines are simply not observed at all resulting in double parking which thus transforms a two-lane road into one lane?

However, it seems that wardens only book Swieqi residents and not those who make use of the business outlets and park haphazardly without any thought of the confusion they are creating by their careless attitude.
