A total of 102 persons were collectively arraigned 730 times last year accused of loitering, Home Affairs Minister Tonio Borg said yesterday. Replying to a parliamentary question by Labour MP Adrian Vassallo, Dr Borg said that another six were accused of living off prostitution.

He said that in the cases which had been decided, penalties ranged from imprisonment to suspended sentence, fines and warnings.
