This year, carnival in Nadur, Gozo, will take place every night between February 16 and 20.

A programme entailing various competitions, dance groups and Maltese entertainers, including the Zoo team, Sur Gawdenz, Id-Dulli, Joe Demicoli and Augusto Cardinale, will be held at the main square of Nadur On the Sunday preceding carnival.

More activities to complement the Nadur carnival are being planned, starting on February 9 with Zoo Comes to Nadur at St Peter and St Paul Square.

On February 10 at 7 p.m., the Miss Nadur Carnival 2007 contest will be held at the MBC Theatre followed by a rock festival featuring the Boot Led Zepellin from the UK, Ira Losco and the band Fire.

A carnival costume party will take place at the Mnarja Band Club on February 15, at 9 p.m. and the Children's Carnival will be held at Nadur primary school on February 16, at 12.30 p.m.

The Nadur local council will hold an Open Day at the Ta' Sopu Tower, Ta' Kenuna Tower and the wartime shelter at St Peter and St Paul Square on February 17 and 18 from 9 a.m. till 4 p.m.
