A man has been given an 18-month jail term suspended for two years after he admitted to stealing machinery from a Birzebbuga plant.

Dominic Mangion, 20, of Valletta, admitted to stealing the machinery from the plant known as Ta' Charlie Harbat.

Lawyer José Herrera appeared for Mr Mangion while lawyer Franco Debono represented the plant owner.
