Industrial turnover increased by nine per cent last November over the same month in 2005, mainly driven by the consumer durables goods and the capital goods industrial groupings, the National Statistics Office said.

Employment in industry is estimated to have increased by 10.8 per cent last November on an annual basis.

Gross wages and salaries in industry increased by 3.3 per cent from November, the NSO said.
