I recently called Melita Cable billing in order to pay my balance over the phone. When I requested the outstanding balance I was given a figure that seemed far too high.

I asked for the billing date for this figure and was told March 25! So basically I am being asked to pay two months in advance. Can anyone at Melita give justification for this? Are there any other industries where we are expected to pay before we receive the service?

This practice must stop.
