There were 39 persons arraigned in Court last year who were accused of sexual abuse on minors, Home Affairs Minister Tonio Borg said yesterday. He told Labour MP Adrian Vassallo in reply to a parliamentary question that 11 cases were decided with three people being sent to prison, seven were given a suspended sentence and one had the case declared exhausted.
