Training for tourism industry

The Malta Tourism Authority will host 11 customer service-training courses for the tourism industry under the Tourism and Support Services Training Programme, partly funded by the EU's European Social Fund.

All training programmes provided are free of charge.

The courses include training in service culture in the tourism industry, benchmarking improvement of standards and working practices, training transport service providers on the ability to communicate with tourists and to provide helpful information about Malta, training assistance and support to small and independent businesses to help them implement effective development plans to foster growth within their respective companies, as well as a study on lifelong learning for the tourism sector.
