Two employees of the Victoria Hotel were presented with the summer and winter achiever of the year awards during the annual party held at Melita Gardens, in Attard.

Amanda Axiaq won the Victoria Hotel's Summer Achiever Award for Innovation.

Joe Darmanin received the Winter Achiever Award.

Both employees were voted as the best achievers by their colleagues in 1recognition of their commitment.

Claire Xuereb, Victoria Hotel general manager, said the year 2006 had been a very good year for the hotel.
