International cat show, exhibition
The Malta Feline Fanciers (MFF) will hold its ninth international cat show/exhibition at the Topaz Hotel, Bugibba, on Sunday, February 4, between 9.30 a.m. and 6 p.m. The cats will be judged by two Swiss experts from the Fédération Internationale Feline.
The Malta Feline Fanciers (MFF) will hold its ninth international cat show/exhibition at the Topaz Hotel, Bugibba, on Sunday, February 4, between 9.30 a.m. and 6 p.m.
The cats will be judged by two Swiss experts from the Fédération Internationale Feline. The cats will be divided into different classes according to breed, colour, age and sex. Various trophies and rosettes will be awarded. Both pedigree and non-pedigree domestic cats are eligible to participate in their respective category.
A pet cat show will be held the day before at 2 p.m. at the same location. It will be open to all those who decide to take their cat along. Judging will be made by those present. There will be a fee of Lm1.
A seminar on cat care will follow the exhibition at 4.30 p.m.; there will be presentations from a vet, a nutritionist and a groomer.
