A 17-year-old is in danger of dying after the bicycle he was riding hit a van in Triq Il-Knisja l-Qadima, Birkirkara yesterday, the police said.

The Birkirkara teenager ran into a Transit van driven by a man, 46, also of Birkirkara, the police added.

Magistrate Lawrence Quintano has opened an inquiry.

The police are investigating.
