Two men who run a Marsascala bar have each been fined Lm1,100 after they admitted to allowing nine minors, under 16, into the bar.

Leonard Desira, 37, of Zabbar and Noel Mallia, 31, of Cospicua pleaded guilty to allowing the minors into Osiris bar on February 18, 2006, at about 9.45 p.m.

Magistrate Saviour Demicoli presided over the case.

Police Inspector Anthony Cassar prosecuted.

Lawyer Anglu Farrugia appeared for the men.
