Maltacom's digital TV offer has proved to be very successful with hundreds of customers already benefiting from a range of digital TV channels for just Lm1 per month.
The promotion offers Maltacom customers the possibility to get their digital TV set-top box for free and, for Lm1 a month, benefit from the Multiplus Free+ package which includes 15 channels, including all local and Italian free-to-air channels, as well as CNN, World Fashion Channel and Sat2000. The monthly Lm1 charge will be included in the Maltacom bill.
This special offer ends on January 15. The offer is available to Maltacom post-paid customers.
Maltacom's chief commercial officer Keith Fearne said: "The demand for this offer has been overwhelming, and has exceeded all expectations. Clearly people want to have affordable access to digital TV, with a choice of quality stations, both local and international."
"Through this cross-promotion with Multiplus, Maltacom is the only telecoms company in Malta currently offering mobile, fixed voice, broadband as well as TV services to its customers. This year, we will usher new initiatives aimed at strengthening our TV offerings, as well as launch bundled packages with a combination of these four services," Mr Fearne added.
Maltacom customers can opt to upgrade to the Multiplus Silver+ channel for an additional Lm5 a month - which gives them access to 34 channels, including all Discovery Channel stations, Eurosport and Eurosport 2, MTV and VH1, Cartoon Network, Boomerang, Toonami and Nickelodeon, E! Entertaiment, Living TV, BBC World and BBC Prime, and many more.
Another option is the Multiplus Gold+ package for an additional Lm9 a month with a line-up of 46 channels, inclusive of all channels in the Silver+ package in addition to channels such as Baby TV, Biography Channel, ESPN Classic Sport, History Channel, Trouble, Wine TV, Bloomberg and Sky News.
In addition, for an extra Lm3 a month, customers can get the Sports Channels with access to live Serie A matches, among other sports. This can be taken with any package, including the free package.
