Bank of Valletta is adopting dual display on the Fast Cash screen of its ATMs, using the central parity rate of 1 as equivalent to Lm0.4293.

The bank said it wants to help its customers to get acquainted with the value of the euro in relation to the lira.

The final irrevocable rate between the lira and the euro is expected to be known between the second and third quarter of this year. BOV will also be embarking on other educational initiatives with the National Euro Changeover Committee, constituted bodies and civil society during the year, until the run up to "e-day".
