The young group, the She 2s, recently joined the YMCA homeless awareness campaign by sleeping over at the Bay Street complex to help create public consciousness about this social problem.

From December 15 to 17 Bay Street Complex was alive with a number of activities as the Christmas calendar of events continued to enfold.

These included enjoyable performances by the She 2s and Thea and Friends. Other participants included young Nicole Azzopardi, Malta's representative at the Zecchino d'Oro, the popular children's festival in Italy this year and popular duo and Charlene.

FSE Team and St John's Rescue Corps also joined in to give some thrilling displays of rescue operations and fire-fighting demonstrations. This was done to collect funds in aid of this year's L-Istrina appeal by the Community Chest Fund.
