The Christmas season at the Embassy Complex in Valletta continues to be one full of fun and prizes. This year anyone spending Lm5 anywhere in the complex before January 14 is entitled to a participation voucher for the competition.
A lucky shopper will win the grand prize of a Lube kitchen by Carmelo Delia & Sons. The second prize is a week for two at the Westin Dragonara Resort in a deluxe room on bed and breakfast basis.
A fully operational Lube kitchen (not the actual one to be won) has been displayed on Great Siege Square, in front of the Law Courts, to give shoppers an idea of what is available at Carmelo Delia.
As an additional bonus, from December 1 to 24, the Embassy introduced an Advent Calendar with a daily prize won by a shopper inside the complex. Prizes included overnight stays at the Westin Dragonara Resort, meals at Palio's and the Terrace Restaurants as well as tickets for the Embassy cinemas.
Many Christmas shoppers this year have decided to give Embassy vouchers as a Christmas gift. The vouchers are redeemable in all outlets of the complex and can be bought from the Embassy offices on level -3 or at the cinema box office on level +2 all year round.
The Embassy complex has been open all day every day in the weeks before Christmas and there have been many fun activities such as carol singing by Jessica Curmi and her talented young guitarists in aid of the Down's Syndrome Association, baking of delicious cookies by the Eden Foundation, and Father Christmas and his assistant were there to entertain the children.
