The 2006 Island Car Club Championship came to an end with a lovely dinner during which the presentation of trophies for the season was held. The event was held on December 12 at the Razzett tal-Hbiberija.

Eight races were held against all odds during the championship. The winners in the various categories were:

The winners were each presented with a trophy from the club, a bottle of Prosecco Zonin, courtesy of Charles Grech & Co. Ltd, and two complimentary tickets to the Malta Classic Car Collection.

The three overall winners, Lino Brincat, Hubert Camillieri and Nikolai Degiorgio, were each also presented with a free SKY Home Package from Sky Telecom.

During the event, Subaru local agents, Liaco Ltd, were announced to be the 2007 official sponsor, followed by The Malta Classic Car Collection, Prestige Properties, Sky Telecom, Techno Garage, Integrated Electronics Ltd and Alberta.
