Pool cars to ease gridlock

Anticipating the crowds expected to besiege Paceville during the festive season, Philip Fenech, president of the Tourism, Hospitality and Leisure Division of the Chamber of Small and Medium Enterprises - GRTU has appealed to revellers to car pool or use public transport.

"It is particularly important this year, in view of the works on the Manwel Dimech bridge.

"The fewer the cars on the road, the easier the driving and the lower the frustration levels," Mr Fenech said.

He also appealed to patrons to be at their chosen venue of entertainment well before midnight to ease the gridlock.
