Maltacom will this year waive all call charges related to the donations made by phone to RTK's Christmas campaigns to be held between Friday and January 1 in aid of persons in need.

A phone-in system has just been installed by Maltacom at the RTK studios in Blata l-Bajda. It will enable members of the public to pledge their donations via a telephone call to an indicated number.

The first of the two RTK campaigns targets primarily children's homes and refugees. Maltacom officials visited the RTK studios to present mobile phones and Go Mobile top-up cards to be used during the competitions tied to phone-ins.

The second campaign aims to raise funds for Dar tal-Providenza.
