The Union Haddiema Maghqudin has instructed paramedical staff and health inspectors in the health service to suspend their industrial action after the union felt a proposal made during conciliation efforts could help solve a dispute with the health authorities.

The union said it had originally ordered workers to resort to partial industrial action after it registered a disagreement in talks over a sectoral agreement for health inspectors and paramedics.

The union has called a meeting for the workers at its Floriana headquarters on December 27 at 4 p.m.
