Down Syndrome support group

The Down Syndrome Association refers to "At the Gozo College everyone matters!" ('Gozo Newsletter', The Sunday Times, December 10).

Our association gladly welcomes the news that a Down Syndrome support group has been set up where children, facilitators, parents and the college co-ordinator meet regularly in different schools.

Chev. Frank Gatt, the pilot project co-ordinator of the Gozo College, had publicly informed us about his intention to set up a Down Syndrome support group during the conference organised in Gozo by the Down Syndrome Association.

We are very pleased to note that the feedback given during the conference has been beneficial and thank Chev. Gatt for his prompt action. We urge parents to continue to give their valuable contributions within this support group.
