Obituary
BONNICI. On December 15, at St Luke's Hospital, ANTIDA, née Abela, aged 84, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Anthony, her children Muriel, Col Walter Bonnici, L/RAMC, and his wife Maria, Lydia and her husband Mario Grech, Christine and her husband Joseph Catania, her grandchildren Kathryn, Elaine, Yana, Matthew, Jeremy and Benjamin, her brothers and their families, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves St Luke's Hospital today at 7.30 a.m. for Balzan parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be celebrated at 8.30 a.m., followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siggiewi, would be appreciated. Lord grant her eternal rest.
CAPITOLI. On December 15, in Acquasparta, Italy, CLAUDIO, veterinary surgeon, aged 76, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Marian, née Coppini, his brother Sandro and his family, other relatives and friends in Italy, Malta and Gozo. The funeral takes place in Acqua-sparta today following celebration of Mass praesente cadavere at Acquasparta parish church. A Mass for the repose of his soul will be said in Malta at a later date. Lord grant him eternal rest.
CASSAR. On December 12, at St James Capua Hospital, Sliema, MARIA STELLA, née Falzon, of Msida, widow of Joseph, aged 89, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her sad loss her seven children Mary Ann, widow of Domenico Catalogna of Italy, Emanuel and his wife Gladys, Carmen and her husband Frank Desira of Australia, Antoinette of the US, Michael and his wife Rosalyn of the US, Joseph and his wife Tanja, Victoria and her husband George Muscat, her 23 grandchildren and their spouses, her 21 great-grandchildren, her sisters-in-law Esther Falzon and Victoria Cassar of Canada, her carer Lina Saliba, her nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves St James Capua Hospital today at 9 a.m. for Fatima Sanctuary, Guardamangia, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9.30 a.m., followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siggiewi, would be appreciated. Lord grant her eternal rest. The family would like to thank the staff at St James Capua Hospital, Zammit Clapp Hospital and Casa Antonia for their care.

Music and cuisine festival
Graffitti group and the team of Harmony In Diversity will be celebrating an African Live Music And Cuisine Festival at the canteen, Student's House, at the University of Malta, Tal-Qroqq today.
The activity starts at 8 p.m. Entrance is free but a voluntary donation will be appreciated.
The event will conclude the Harmony In Diversity project that falls under the EU Youth Programme.
The aim of the project is to facilitate inclusion of immigrants in Maltese society through a series of seminars, events, food tasting activities and music.
