A Great Dane puppy, which was found at Cospicua, is in the hands of the Abandoned Animals Association, which is trying to home it after nursing it back to health.

The AAA's Freddie Fenech said the dog was dehydrated and emaciated. It needs medication for the time being but will recover in a short time.
