Christmas comes to Bay Street with a programme of activities designed to suit the taste of the whole family.

Visitors will today be entertained by the Curtain Raiser team who will be providing all sorts of activities for children between 4 and 6 p.m. The Windmill Brass Band will be in attendance at 5.30 p.m..

On Saturday Bay Street will again come alive with the Curtain Raiser animation team and with the B-Kidz club. During the day the complex will host an activity by the YMCA that will raise awareness on homelessness and the Marisa Damato group will be giving a performance of popular Country and Line Dancing in the evening.

Sunday sees another day of activities for children which will include Nicole Azzopardi, Malta's representative at the Zecchino D'Oro in Italy this year.

Popular duo Natasha and Charlene will perform in the evening.

Bay Street's Christmas activities continue on December 20 when the Phylisienne Brincat Choir will give a concert.

A special performance by the ever popular St Julian's Choral Group will take place on December 21.

Visitors to the complex will be able to watch a preview of the Circo Bellucci at 11 a.m. on December 23 and a traditional procession with the statue of Baby Jesus and Christmas carol singing will be held in the evening.

Another preview of the Circo Bellucci will be held on Christmas Eve. Other activities include a performance by a brass band.

Activities at Bay Street continue throughout the week after Christmas with Circo Bellucci performances and musical entertainment on a daily basis up to New Year's Eve.
