Moviment Graffitti and the team Harmony In Diversity will be celebrating an African Live Music And Cuisine Festival at the canteen, Students House, the University of Malta, at Tal-Qroqq on Saturday at 8 p.m.
Entrance is free but a voluntary donation is appreciated.
This event will conclude the Harmony In Diversity Project, which falls under the EU Youth Programme. It aims to facilitate inclusion of immigrants in Maltese society through a series of seminars, events, food tasting activities and music.
The festival will feature live African music by Eritrean, Congolose, Sudanese and Maltese performers.
Food served during the event will include a wide variety of sweets prepared by African cooks from Somalia, Sudan, Congo, Eritrea and Ethopia.
The event also includes the 1,000 Families photographic exhibition by German photographer Uwe Ommer.
