The engagement is announced between KEVIN, son of Stanley and Mary Galea of Balzan, and RUTH, daughter of Edward and Carmen Gauci Borda of St Venera. Fr Patrick Magro, SJ, officiated at the ceremony.

Marriages

Mr SERGIO MUSCAT, B.Sc. (Hons) IT and Arch. FLEUR-MARIE EBEJER, BE&A (Hons)
The marriage took place on December 3 at St Mary's parish church, Attard, between SERGIO, son of Mr and Mrs Ronnie Muscat, and FLEUR-MARIE, daughter of Mr and Mrs Joseph Ebejer. Nuptial Mass was celebrated by Fr Vincent Deguara. The ceremony was witnessed by Dr Beppe Zammit Lucia and Mr Jean Paul Ebejer, B.Sc. (Hons) IT. The duties of best men were carried out by Arch. Victor Sladden, BE&A (Hons.), M.Sc. (Birmingham), and Mr Joseph Camilleri. The bride was attended by her cousin, Mrs Lara Quintano, and the groom's sister, Ms Mireille Muscat, B.Eng. (Hons), M.Sc. (Aachen). Miss Martina Azzopardi and Master Isaac Camilleri acted as flower-girl and pageboy respectively. Mr Carlo Muscat and Mr Anton Ebejer were the ushers. A reception was held at the Casino Maltese, Valletta. The couple are spending their honeymoon in New Zealand.

Obituary

BONELLO. On December 8, at St Luke's Hospital, Sr EMILIANA (Marianna), of the Sisters of Charity, aged 93, passed peacefully away to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of the Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss the congregation of the Sisters of Charity, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. - R.I.P.
The funeral leaves St Luke's Hospital today at 7.30 a.m. for the Sisters' convent at 55, Birbal Street, Balzan, where Mass praesente cadavere will be celebrated at 8 a.m., followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.

HILI. On December 9, at St Luke's Hospital, Lorenza, of Vittoriosa, residing in Zejtun, aged 83, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her brother Joseph, and sisters Mary, Carla, Sr Laura, Sr Amabile of the Franciscan Sisters of the Heart of Jesus, cousins, relatives and friends. - R.I.P.
Mass praesente cadavere will be said tomorrow at 3.30 p.m. at Zejtun parish church followed by interment at Zejtun Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Pax et Bonum Home in Mosta will be appreciated.
