Obituary
FENECH. On December 7, at St Luke's Hospital, ROSE née Camilleri, of Valletta, widow of Dominic, aged 84, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her seven children, Joseph, May, Carmen, Pius, Lora, Frances and Alfred, their respective husbands and wives, her dearest grandchildren, her two sisters and in-laws, nephews and nieces, relatives and friends.
The funeral leaves St Luke's Hospital today at 9.30 a.m. for Our Lady of Mount Carmel church in Valletta, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 10 a.m. followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to St Clare's Monastery of St Julians will be appreciated. Lord grant her eternal rest.
MIZZI. On December 7, Major JO MIZZI, aged 84, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his great loss his beloved wife Marion, née Borda, his children Gordon and his wife Anna, Kenneth and his wife Simone, Veronique, Angele and her husband Claude Calleja, Corinne and her husband Philip Apap Bologna, his grandchildren Matthew, Simon and Jonathan, Elisa and Emily, Nicholas and Michael, Elizabeth and Richard, his brother Maurice, relatives and friends.
The funeral leaves St James Capua Hospital today at 8.30 a.m. for St Gregory's parish church, Sliema, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.45 a.m., followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Donations to the Muscular Dystrophy Group will be appreciated. May the Lord grant him eternal rest.
Requiem masses
On the first anniversary of the death of JOHN J. BORG, a Mass for the repose of his soul will be said today at 6.30 p.m. at St Publius parish church, Floriana. The attendance of relatives and friends would be appreciated.
A Mass for the repose of the soul of Dennis Degiorgio will be said tomorrow at 10 a.m. at the Carmelite church, St Julians, on the first anniversary of his demise.

Christmas Exhibition
The culture commission of St Philip Band Club, Zebbug will be mounting its annual exhibition called Nativitas at the club premises from December 17 to 31.
Exhibits include a large variety of cribs, cards and statues of baby Jesus some of which date back to the 17th century. About 40 exhibitors from all over the island will be taking part. Entrance is free.
Opening hours are Monday to Friday from 5.30 to 9 p.m. and upon request.
It will also be open for schoolchildren between 9 a.m. and noon.
On Saturdays it will be open from 5.30 to 9 p.m., Sundays from 9 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and 5.30 to 9 p.m. and on December 31 from 9 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.
Other activities organised by the club during Christmas include a disco, a programme of entertainment, carols by the St Philip Band, and a party for children.
VIP tickets for Bocelli concert
Two VIP Gold tickets each for the upcoming Andrea Bocelli concert have been awarded to three Maltacom customers.
The winners of the Maltacom competition are Martin Abela of Dingli, Alfred Sacco of Fgura and Caroline Seychell of Pietà.
All customers who made overseas calls between November 15 and 30 were automatically eligible to participate in the draw.
The concert will be held on December 16 in the Convention Centre at Ta' Qali.
Gozo book fair
A book fair will be held at the Arka Respite Centre, Dar Arka, Triq il-Moghdija, Ghajnsielem, from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. today and between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. tomorrow. Entrance is free and free gifts will be given with any purchase over Lm1. There will also be prizes to be won with all proceeds going to Fondazzjoni Arka.
