The General Worker's Union said an "important" meeting for all Air Malta employees will be held at the Workers Memorial Buildings in Valletta next Thursday at 5.30 p.m.
The meeting will discuss the "drastic proposals" presented to the GWU by Air Malta for its second rescue plan.
Last year Air Malta made a loss of Lm6.5 million.
Speaking in Parliament last month, Investments Minister Austin Gatt said the first rescue plan had been a success and the company had reduced overheads by Lm11 million, despite a Lm5 million increase in its fuel bill.
