When possible, I watch Bla Agenda, the One TV programme on Saturday evening presented by Norman Hamilton.
I find it informative, pleasant, entertaining and relaxing. I also notice that Mr Hamilton's guests are very relaxed during the programme.
This is due to the fact that the presenter asks what he has to ask in a polite and friendly way, and without trying to "belittle" his guests and expose a know-it-all attitude.
I have particularly in mind the programme aired on Saturday, December 2, when Floriana mayor Publio Agius was invited on. He gave him all the time required to explain his council's position vis-à-vis the Park and Ride system and how it affects Floriana residents.
I am sure that following that programme, the public, especially Floriana residents, are now more aware of the whole situation.
It is a pity that presenters of certain popular programmes seem to think that, by being arrogant and interrupting their guests all the time, they are doing a service to viewers. It is not the case.
Keep it up, Mr Hamilton.
