Arraigned over Marsascala mishap

A man was yesterday charged with kicking a car while the driver was charged with trying to seriously injure the man and a woman and her family when he drove in their direction.

In one arraignment, before Magistrate Michael Mallia, Kevin Cutajar, 29, of Vittoriosa pleaded not guilty to threatening and trying to seriously injure Francis Cassar, Debora Richard and her parents and son and daughter when he drove a car in their direction in Marsascala on Sunday.

In a separate case, Mr Cassar, 40, of Marsascala pleaded not guilty to damaging Mr Cutajar's car when he kicked it.

Police Inspector Anthony Cassar prosecuted.
