The Hilary Zammit McKeon Trust Fund (HZMTF) presented financial donations to Gordon Cardona, president of the Maltese Council of Disabled Persons, and amputee Amy Zahra of Amy's Friends.

The Trust Fund is represented by Edward Scicluna, Joseph Camilleri and Hilary's parents Carmen and Philip Zammit McKeon.

Prof. Scicluna explained how the fund was set up 15 years ago to help disabled university students to meet the extra costs. He also said that when Hilary was reading for a Bachelor's in Commerce in the early 1990s, hardly any support was available to students who, like himself, had an impairment.

Among other guests attending the presentation were Pro-Rector Mary Anne Lauri, the head of the Social Policy Work Department, Rev. Carmel Tabone, Maureen Cole and the director of Library Studies Anthony Mangion.
