Simon Busuttil in Amman for Euro-Med Conference

Nationalist MEP Simon Busuttil is in Amman, Jordan, to address a conference on the parliamentary dimension of the Mediterranean dialogue.

The conference is being organised by the European People's Party (EPP) and the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung and is intended to build new contacts between the EPP (to which the Nationalist Party belongs) and the like-minded political parties in the Euro-Med region. The conference will assess the road the Euro-Med dialogue is taking and shed light on the role political parties should play in this process.

Dr Busuttil is among a delegation of five MEPs from the EPP group who will be meeting counterparts from ten southern Mediterranean countries. On Sunday morning they will be received by King Abdullah II.
